ER309L AWS A5.9 CLASS ER 309L
ER309L is commonly used for welding Stainless Steel to Carbon Steel.
ER309L is similar to type 309 except the carbon content is lower than .03%.
- Extra low carbon provides good resistance to carbide precipitation and corrosion
- Works well for dissimilar joints that undergo heat treatment
