Rigorously Tested Welding Cups From Michael Furick
Motorsports fabricator and master welder Michael Furick knows his stuff. Weldmonger has put this kit together with some of our favorite welding cups that he offers!
This Kit is Designed For:
- #9 air cooled torches
- #20 style water cooled torches
- Includes a 45v44 3/32” gas lens collet body.
Additional Information:
#8 Pro Clear Cup: We really like this cup! The go-to size cup for all around steel as well as aluminum is usually a #8 gas lens. The #8 Pro helps welders to see better, and not just through the cup when welding into a corner or in a hole, but the clear cup actually lights up the whole area, making visibility easy!
The #8 Pro is not threaded, but all that is needed is to put an o-ring on the base of the gas lens and the cup slides right on. Additionally, it works great on either AC or DC. The #8 Pro clear cup provides great shielding and allows for a surprisingly long stickout if you need it.
The Jazzy 10 Ceramic Cup: This cup provides great gas coverage with a really long stickout and works great on chromoly and stainless steel, as well as inconel alloys.
The Ceramic 12 Cup: This cup features the same design as the Jazzy 10 while also providing a larger argon envelope. The Ceramic 12 Cup also works great on 4130 chromoly steel, stainless steel, inconel alloys, and even some titanium jobs.
The New BBWSG-19 Cup: This cup has a brass insert that is threaded and provides a really large shielded area for titanium and other alloys like inconel, as well as superalloys used in both aerospace and motorsports.
