How to set AC Frequency for TIG welding aluminum
When it comes to TIG welding aluminum, there are no hard and fast rules for settings AC Frequency.
But a general rule of thumb I use is lower frequency settings work best on thicker aluminum.
And higher frequency settings seem to help for pinpointing the arc on thinner aluminum.
And as shown in the video above, Gradually increasing AC frequency every bead can help when you are doing edge buildup.
AC Balance is another common setting for TIG welding aluminum.
