TIG TORCH PARTS
What is up with TIG torches and Parts?& the Numbering System? The TIG torch numbering system (like 9, 17, 20, 26, etc.) seems random to most of us welders...

The Fireball Tool Minion Square Pair packs serious fabrication capability into a compact size.
Measuring just 6" × 4" × 1.5" each, these welding and fabrication squares are designed for tight spaces, quick fit-ups, frame building, gate and fence fabrication, tubing work, and everyday welding setups where a larger square can get in the way.
The Minion Square is also the first Fireball Tool square to incorporate a built-in 60°/30° angle, giving you more setup options than a traditional 90-degree welding square.
Sold as a left and right pair, the Minion Squares can be used individually or together for accurate, repeatable fabrication setups.
Sometimes a big fabrication square is simply too much tool for the job.
The Minion Square's narrow, tall profile makes it easy to position between parts, inside frames, and around tighter assemblies while still providing solid reference surfaces for clamping and fit-up.
Use them for:
90° welding and fabrication fit-up
60° and 30° angle setups
Gate and fence fabrication
Picket spacing
Square and rectangular tubing
Frame building
Tack welding
Small assemblies
Repeatable fabrication setups
Welding table and bench work
The 4" side of the Minion Square provides a convenient reference for common picket spacing when building gates, fences, railings, and similar fabricated assemblies.
Instead of repeatedly measuring between parts, the square itself can serve as your spacing reference.
Position it, clamp your material, tack the part in place, and move on to the next one.
The Minion isn't limited to square corners.
In addition to its 90° reference, the design incorporates 60° and 30° angles, giving fabricators more options for angled assemblies and layout work.
The left and right squares can also be positioned together using their matching 60° surfaces to create parallel reference surfaces for accurate spacing and alignment.
A welding square isn't very useful if it blocks the joint you're trying to weld.
Fireball Tool incorporates a cutout into the Minion Square that provides access to the inside corner while the square maintains the 90° position of your workpieces.
That means you can hold the assembly square while still having room to get your TIG torch, MIG gun, or electrode into the joint for tack welding.
Each Minion Square features bosses on both sides for positioning Fireball Tool's included edge-location tabs.
The tabs give you an additional reference surface for aligning the square with your workpiece and can be mounted on either the front or back.
This makes the Minion Square useful even when you're not working on a dedicated welding fixture table.
The pair includes:
2 Fireball Tool Minion Squares
8 Edge Location Tabs
8 Tool-Less Thumbscrews
The thumbscrews can be adjusted by hand, so there's no need to grab a hex key every time you want to reposition a tab.
The Cast Aluminum Minion Squares provide a lighter-weight option that's easy to move around the shop or take into the field.
Dimensions: 6" × 4" × 1.5"
Weight: 3 lbs. per square
Cast aluminum is a great choice for mobile welding setups and everyday fabrication where portability is important.
For heavier fabrication work, choose the Cast Iron Minion Squares with Fireball Tool's Dragon Scale coating.
Dimensions: 6" × 4" × 1.5"
Weight: 6.4 lbs. per square
The cast iron construction provides excellent resistance to warping, dents, and burrs, while the Dragon Scale coating adds corrosion protection and enhanced resistance to weld spatter.
The Minion Squares are also compatible with Fireball Tool Edge Alignment Pins.
Adding alignment pins expands the ways you can position the square, including setting it off the edge of a table, creating clearance underneath the square, and establishing additional reference surfaces during fabrication.
