Fireball Tool Miter Square – Stainless Steel Fabrication Layout Squares

Make fast, accurate layout marks on tubing and other fabrication material with the Fireball Tool Miter Square.

Designed specifically with metal fabrication in mind, these stainless steel layout squares make it easy to quickly mark 90°, 45°, and 22.5° angles on steel tube. Laser-engraved measurements on both sides allow the square to work from either direction while giving you an easy reference for inside and outside measurements.

Available as a 3-Pack with 5", 8", and 9.75" squares or a 2-Pack with 5" and 9.75" squares, the Fireball Miter Square gives you a simple, durable layout tool for everything from smaller tubing to larger fabrication projects.

Fast Layout for Steel Tubing

When you're cutting tubing for a fabrication project, getting an accurate mark is the first step toward getting a clean fit-up.

The Fireball Miter Square is designed to make those marks quickly.

Use it to establish:

  • 90° lines

  • 45° lines

  • 22.5° lines

Instead of setting up multiple measuring tools or trying to accurately transfer an angle around your material, grab the appropriate Miter Square and make your mark.

It's a simple tool designed to speed up repetitive layout work.

Built for Metal Fabrication

Unlike general-purpose layout squares, the Fireball Tool Miter Square is designed specifically for working with steel tubing.

It's a useful addition to the shop for:

  • Square tubing

  • Rectangular tubing

  • Frame fabrication

  • Gates and railings

  • Welding projects

  • Furniture fabrication

  • Shop projects

  • Tube cutting and fit-up

  • General metalworking

  • Repetitive production work

Keep a set near the saw or fabrication table and you'll have quick angle references ready whenever you need them.

90°, 45° & 22.5° References

Three commonly used fabrication angles are built directly into the design:

90°

Quickly establish a straight cut line across your material for square joints and basic fabrication.

45°

Lay out common 45° miters for corners, frames, boxes, gates, and other welded assemblies.

22.5°

The additional 22.5° reference gives you another useful angle for more complex layouts and multi-angle fabrication projects.

Having all three available on one simple tool helps reduce setup time when moving between different cuts.

Laser Engraved on Both Sides

Fireball Tool laser engraves the Miter Squares on both sides.

That means you can flip the square over and continue working without losing your measurement references.

The markings can be used for inside or outside measurements, making the squares easier to use in different orientations and fabrication setups.

1/8" Measurement Increments

Measurements are clearly marked in 1/8" increments.

This gives you a quick measuring reference directly on the square, reducing the number of times you need to switch back and forth between your square and tape measure during basic layout work.

Measure, mark your angle, and move on to the next piece.

Durable 13-Gauge Stainless Steel

Each Fireball Miter Square is made from 13-gauge stainless steel measuring 0.090" thick.

Stainless steel gives the squares the durability needed for everyday use around welding tables, saws, grinders, tubing racks, and fabrication equipment.

It's a simple construction with no moving parts to adjust or lose.

Just grab the square and make your mark.

Multiple Sizes for Different Material

Different fabrication jobs call for different size layout tools.

The Fireball Miter Square is available in multiple sizes so you can grab the square that best matches the material you're working with.

3-Pack Includes

  • 5" Miter Square

  • 8" Miter Square

  • 9.75" Miter Square

The three-size kit gives you the most flexibility for working across a range of tubing and fabrication projects.

2-Pack Includes

  • 5" Miter Square

  • 9.75" Miter Square

The 2-pack gives you a compact option for smaller work and a larger square for bigger material.

Great Tool to Keep Near the Saw

This is one of those simple fabrication tools that makes the most sense when it's kept right where the work happens.

Keep your Fireball Miter Squares near your:

  • Bandsaw

  • Cold saw

  • Chop saw

  • Welding table

  • Fabrication table

  • Material rack

  • Layout bench

Grab the appropriate size, mark your cut, and move directly to the saw.

For shops that process a lot of tubing, that can make repetitive layout considerably more convenient.
