STICK160 110v/220v Dual Voltage Stick Welder
Whether you’re an experienced welder, a DIY enthusiast, or a complete beginner, a stick welder is an excellent tool to have. The PrimeWeld STICK160 110v/220v Dual Voltage Stick Welder is ultra-compact; about the size of a lunch box. On top of that, it is a super lightweight welding machine. This 12-pound, 110v/220v welding machine has the 160-amp power to weld 3/8-inch steel.
“Unbelievable how something so small and portable works as well as the larger machines. And at such a great price. Great Buy!”
— Jennifer, Proud Owner of a STICK160
This 110v stick welder can run up to 120 amps, enough to weld a 1/4-inch plate. Furthermore, this welder is TIG-capable, giving you a choice of processes for every job. You’ll be able to weld sheet metal as thin as 24 gauge. This is a perfect welding scenario where you’ll be grateful for the TIG function.
Dual Voltage Feature
The STICK160's lightweight build and compact size works well with its dual-voltage input power. Because it runs on either 120 or 240 volts, this is a great machine when you’re doing repairs for family and friends. Put this little box in the trunk with some leads, a batch of rods, and you’re on your way. This shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) machine is also a great choice for farm, fabrication, or construction. The possibilities are endless.
“Love this little welder! Very good little stick welder and definitely worth the money. Dual voltage and packs a big punch, yet can still handle thin stock without burning through.”
— Henry, Happy PrimeWeld Customer.
Regardless of the power situation at your job site, this PrimeWeld stick welder has you covered. Included in the box is an adapter pigtail to plug the 240-power cord into a 120 outlet. You can work just about anywhere because the STICK160 is generator-ready as well.
Voltage Reduction Device
The Voltage Reduction Device (VRD) built in to the electrode circuit lets you reduce the stick’s voltage when you’re not welding. The power at the exposed stick lowers from 62 volts to 16 volts by touching a button. VRD lessens the danger of contacting the electrode when you’re working in tight or cluttered places. As every good welder knows, safety is key.
Welding Applications
Adding a TIG welding kit to your STICK160 gives you the power to handcraft those fine-quality welds that the TIG process excels at. Especially on auto body sheet metal. When appearance is important — as with flower racks, gating, motorcycles, and outdoor furniture — TIG is the way to go. It’ll let you finish those visible joints for a clean, professional look.
