Silver Welds and Chill

Making Silver Welds boils down to a handful of details...

Using the right amperage, the right cup, stickout, gas flow rate, travel speed, arc length, and chill bars all play into limiting discoloration on steels, and stainless steels.

Our New overhauled TIG arsenal kit has the right cups for nearly every job.

I used a ceramic 12 cup with 25 cfh and a 3/32" 2% lanthanated tungsten for this corner joint on cold rolled steel.

The Aluminum angle block really pulled out the heat too.
