Clear TIG Cups compared to Ceramic Cups

I don't always use clear cups. I still use ceramic cups a lot.

But I can tell you one thing...

When I go back to a pink ceramic cup, it's like someone dimmed the lights.

I was very skeptical when I first saw clear cups at a Fabtech.

But when I finally tried them for videos, I learned quickly that not only does it help me make a better video with better arc shots...but it really does help me see details better.

If your eyesight is great and you are seeing everything like you need to, then thats great.

My eyes were great when I was young and didn't need any help.

But things change.

I hope this video helps you either way.

Hey Denny, we have some good info graphics showing how to tell what type torch you have on every cup and tig cup kit page.
in a nutshell, if your collet body is about 2 inches long, you have a 17,18,26 style torch.
If your collet body is only an inch or so, then most likely you have a 9 or 20 style torch.
