The workbook includes 36 stick welding topics and drills, progressing from basic electrode practice and beads on plate to positional plate and pipe welding. Training covers 6013, 6010, 7018 and XX10 electrodes, with exercises for flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead welding, along with 2F, 3F, 4F, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and 6G applications.
Each exercise provides useful setup information such as weld position, base material and thickness, electrode type and diameter, polarity, and recommended amperage, so you have a starting point before you strike an arc. For example, the 6013 flat stringer bead drill provides the material thickness, 1/8" electrode, DCEP polarity and a 110–125 amp range alongside the video lesson.
